What My Previous Clients Have Said

Nicholas at Planning Solutions Edinburgh has been a pleasure to work with on change of use applications for both of our Martial Arts Studios at Playfair Jiu Jitsu.
These went through smoothly and Nick was always accessible and available to answer any queries.
We have been very happy with the process and will be using PSE and Nicholas for any future projects.

It was our pleasure working with Nicholas. We have been very impressed with his friendly and professional approach to our project. During these unprecedented times, he gave hope to our new venture. Lady and the Bear, our coffee house and performing arts lab is getting alive in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre very soon. He dealt with our planning applications, listed building consent, and advertisement consent applications in a calm and ethical manner. He was always there for us during the whole process even during some difficult times. Furthermore, Nicholas supports us all these months as if it was his own idea. It is very rare to find a professional that really cares about you and your ideas. In Nicholas, we didn’t found only a professional we found a friend in him. We highly recommend him and we are sure you wouldn’t believe your luck.

My family and I live in an area of Edinburgh which has been subject to many planning applications. Several of which, if granted permission would have had a negative impact on my family’s quality of life. I contacted Planning Solutions Edinburgh to assist me in putting together two separate letters of objection to the proposals. I was very impressed by the quality of the letters drafted .And as a result of the well written objections, one application was refused and the other applicant withdrew their application after seeking advice.. I would happily recommend PSE to anyone who is concerned about a planning application and how it might negatively impact on their life or that of the local community.

My wife and I bought a house for our family, we wanted to make it our home but as it was a listed building we had planning problems. We were given a recommendation of PSE to help us. Nick and his company were professional, tenacious and exacting in the way he helped us. If you need help getting the home or business premises you need I would contact PSE and they will do everything you need.

I have worked successfully with Nicholas Morris from PSE in a complex change of use project in the New Town area of Edinburgh. The project involved changing an existing office space into a café and B&B in A listed building within a conservation area in a World Heritage site. A lot of complexities and restrictions came into play in this particular project. His help and technical expertise was invaluable. His service throughout all the various stages have been excellent, responsive, friendly and with a personal touch. Both the required listed building and change of use consents were granted by the Council and as a result a great deal of additional costs and delays were avoided. I will continue to recommend PSE to anyone requiring a good and cost effective planning consultancy.

After a great deal of stress of going through the planning process and two failed applications, I found Nicholas Morris from PSE very positive right from the outset even though it involved a problematic extension in a conservation area. A complex brief with lots of history was handed over to him which he duly accepted. After an initial consultation he was able to make recommendations and develop a new modified project in consultation with an architect he also recommended. I am happy to say this application sailed through with no problems at the first attempt and with no conditions attached.
